Professional Installation Options
Before you add installation, please check that this applies to you:
- Bed type: an adjustable bed with a wood platform (the rail is screwed into the platform).
- Your mattress is between 10 and 12 inches thick.
- Your mattress is firm: it compresses no more than 2 inches under 12 lb of pressure on a 4 x 4 inch area, and it has no topper or soft compressible pad.
- There is room to place it at least 12.5 inches from both the head and the foot of the bed.
- It is not a toddler, bunk, water, or inflatable bed.
If installing two bed rails, they must not be installed on the same side of the bed. Follow the manufacturer's placement and spacing instructions for each rail.

Bed Compatibility and Installation Requirements
The Stander Wonder Bed Rail for Adjustable Beds #8700 is designed for adjustable beds with wooden platforms.
Adjustable Beds: Permanent installation using the provided screws is required. The handle must be securely attached to the wooden platform beneath the mattress, including compatible upholstered platforms with a wood base.
Not compatible with metal adjustable bed platforms.
Before purchasing, verify your bed's construction and review Stander's installation instructions and safety warnings. Improper installation may create serious safety hazards.
